History:
Originally known as Verity Park Golf Club, this property was the estate of George M. Verity, founder of Armco Steel. The Gazebo, built in 1915, was his summer cottage.The stone leading to the Gazebo was part of his walkway at his house. The golf course was built in 1917 and has had two U.S. Presidents and many other distinguished guests play this course.
Amenities:
1. Nine hole - 18 tee Donald Ross designed golf course maintained by Tom Streif (Superintendent)
2. Gazebo - Bar and Grill with patio overlooking golf course serves as the "hang out" for members
3. Banquet facility is available for a discount to all Union members for Union Meetings, weddings, or family functions
4. Swimming Pool with high dive and baby pool
5. Bike trail along property
6. Picnic area
7. Sand Volleyball - to be built in Spring of 2009
8. Fishing on the Great Miami River adjacent to golf course
9. Additional amenities adjoining property including tennis courts, soccer field, and fitness center
