Polaris Slingshot Raffle

A few months ago, the IAMAW Eastern Territory put on a raffle for a Polaris Slingshot to help raise funds for the 41st IAMAW Grand Lodge Convention. In May, the Membership approved funds to purchase raffle tickets on behalf of the Local. When the drawing was held, our Local won the grand prize! Your Local will be raffling this prize to one of our own members. All active members in good standing as of 10/12/2024 will be automatically entered into the drawing. No ticket will be needed. The drawing will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 4:00 pm at the Fall Festival. The procedure for the drawing is as follows:

· All active members in good standing will be listed on a Master Sheet for review. Each member will be able to review the list to verify their name, up to and including October 9th. It is your responsibility to verify that your name is on the list. If your name is missing, please let your Committeeman know.

· The list will be finalized on October 10th. Each member on the list will be assigned a number from 1 through the total number of verified members.

· At the time of the drawing, random number generating software will be utilized to select the winner. The software has been approved by your Executive Board as fair and appropriate for the drawing.

· The number generator will be “clicked” three times, with the third number being the winner. This is to show the membership that the software is functioning properly. The intent is to complete this process live and have it on a projector screen at the Union Hall for those who wish to view.

· Members need not be present to win.
